Baja On 4th Place Regarding Industrial Growth Throughout First Half of 2015

There have been 10 consecutives months of growth, well above the majority of the country

BAJA CALIFORNIA.- An important progress regarding industrial activity up to May of this year, registering a 9.7% in growth, Baja has set itself on 4th place as the entity with most increases inside the country's sector, according to the Indicator of Industrial Activity for the Federative Entity of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), in the Reforma journal's section of Claroscuro.

The rotary describes that the reports of INEGI show that Baja is among the top 5 states who have achieved a noticeable development in the industry sector, having the state of Tlaxcala in first place.

Adding up to this growth percentage , Baja has been running on 10 consecutive months of positive behavior regarding industrial matter; given that this sector spreads out to activities such as production, fabrication, manufacture and assemble, among others, for the transformation of any type of prime matter into products, using organized human resources and machinery; pointing out that this sector includes mining, construction and the manufacturing industry, among others.

Other states that stood out for their good performance were Guanajuato, Yucatan and Guerrero.
