The recent terror attacks in Brussels have thousands worried here in one of the busiest international border crossings in the world. Which is why the San Diego Police Department is now heightening security at the airport, trolley stations and buses.
"We work very closely with our other local law enforcement agencies and with our state and federal agencies and we are very closely monitoring the events that happened in Brussels ", said San Diego Police Chief Zimmerman in an interview on Good Morning San Diego, KUSI News.
Chief Zimmerman asked the San Diego community to report any suspicious activity to the police, "When we talk about 'If you see something, know something or hear something then say something', it really is critically important because it's what we can do to prevent something before it happens".
