The mother of Tae Kwon Do Athlete, Saul Gutierrez, had already given up on the chance of seeing his son compete at the Olympics, for she had not get a ticket to fly, BUT, her friends gave her a surprise.
"I've already given up with the idea. Plans were to gather at a school in Queretaro and watch him, but turns out my friends got a ticket for me." said Evelia in an interview.
"I didn't have my passport up to date, so I ran to Foreign Affairs and they told me that it couldn't be done, despite of that I managed to get it done on Tuesday. Next thing I was flying to Mexico City."

When she got to Brazil, Evelia couldn't find the way of getting a ticket to see his son compete; but again, a lot of people offered her help, and at the end, the beach volleyball team of the U.S. gave her a free ticket.
"God put in my way a lot of Angels. They gave me a ticket to see my son compete at the Olympics."

Apparently, Saul Gutierrez will get a huge surprise from his mother... "He doesn't know I'm here, so I'm very excited."
