There's a Place in Tijuana Where You May find a Pizza Sandwich!

Meat, avocado, lettuce, and other ingredients, inside two slices of pizza

Today's #EarthDay, and part of the celebration is to unite as humanity to create a better environment for us and our everyday lives, right? Well, recycling and saving water is part of the things many of us have in common, a number we have to increase; but if you have to choose a definite champion, we can say that there's one thing we ALL have in common, and that is: PIZZA.

Of course! Pizza always makes our days better, pizza is friends, family, "Netflix and Chill" nights, Birthday parties, and more. Pizza is everything.

That's why we got excited when we found a place in Tijuana that, besides having pizza on its menu, it was served in a very unique way… how? as a Pizza Sandwich (or tortapizza). The place is called "Lonchería Sarita."

If this is awesome, then a pizza sandwich can't be that bad.

Tijuana is known for connecting many cultures and turn it into food, that's why dishes as torta de chilaquiles, or torta de aguachile are part of Baja's culinary options, and this Pizza Sandwich is ready to join the team.

Apparently, Loncheria Sarita has this option on its menu, because when we got into the official Facebook page we found a picture we won't easily erase from our minds, one that featured meat, avocado, lettuce, and tomato inside two slices of pizza.

The image had been surfing social media, making people wonder and comment non-stop about this holy creation (for some), and maybe a little "too much" for others.

Anyway, we wouldn't be doing our job well if we just let this opportunity slide, that's why we highly recommend you to find out for yourself if this Pizza Sandwich is worthy of your stomach.

Look at this masterpiece.

We may not be sure if it's a permanent option on Lonchería Sarita's menu, but is definitely part of it, so don't doubt it any longer, and dare try this monster in Tijuana. If not, then maybe you should give it a try at home.
