The superheroines created by Tijuanenses winners of the "Art vs. Violence" contest organized by the United States Consulate in Tijuana, had the opportunity to be presented in an exhibition at Comic-Con 2017.

The two superheroines were selected to represent the idea of superheroes against violence. In this case, their powers are used to combat the trafficking in women.

"Blue Heart" is the superheroine created by Ilse Flores, which took the first place in the contest, while the second place went to Silvia González with super-heroine "Art Light".

In order to participate, the young women also wrote a story to go with the invented character, in this case, both characters were victims of this crime, and that is why they decided to protect others from this terrible situation.

The drawings of their creation were exhibited in a panel where members of the consulate participated in a forum called "Animation Ambassadors to the Rescue."

The winners, aside from receiving some prizes such as a tablet and a go pro, will receive a stay in the city of Florida in a study of visual effects with the intention of orienting their careers.
