There are more than 100 places of Mexico with the denomination of "Pueblos Mágicos" (Magical Towns), and in Baja, Tecate has all the characteristics to be one.
Buzzfeed Mexico recently made a list of 13 magic villages "that will make you want to move," among which Tecate stands out in the 12th place.
In the article they point out that Tecate stands out for its "colonial architecture", and that it´s a place it has to be visited at least once in your life.
It emphasizes that its proximity to the Valley of Guadalupe make it even more attractive, in which you can find many wineries, but also, Tecate produces its own.
And if you don´t want to suffer the high temperatures weather, you shouldn´t worry, because you can find houses made of stone that will keep you cool.
Tecate is without a doubt the most picturesque towns of Baja California, where, according to its people, you can try the best sweet bread in the region, as well as have a great time relaxing in the already famous park with a Kiosk.
Lately, the growth of this town has highlighted new places, restaurants and proposals in ecological tourism, such as hiking activities and bike rides.
