Tijuana Coffee Shop Wins 4th Place in National Brew Bar Competition 2017

TIJUANA.- From Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, the Expo Café 2017 was held at the WTC in Mexico City, where a barista from Tijuana, Samuel Barron Molina, participated in the 5th Mexican Brew Bar competition of brew and made it to the finals.

Molina, from Dinastía 12 Coffee Shop, won the 4th place for his special coffee, which you can taste this Saturday September 23 at the café located in Plaza Rio.

The event will last from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, where a talk with Humberto Martinez will be held, who's a Q Grader taster and a National Judge.

If you want to buy this coffee, you can get the 1 pound bag for $145.00 pesos or $8.50 dlls and the 2 pounds bag for $240.00 pesos or $14.00 dlls.

According to Martinez, it's been many years since Tijuana had a national finalist in this competition.
