The Baja Culinary Fest will be held from Oct. 19 to Oct. 22 in different locations, seeking to create awareness with the absolute care of the natural resources existing in the region.

"The Baja Culinary Fest was created 7 years ago with the idea of getting to know us abroad, the local public already knows the culinary wonders of the region, but by inviting outside chefs, they can also see our products," said Maribel Moreno, coordinator of the event.

She also mentioned that the activities will involve cooks, farmers, fishermen, culinary producers and people who like to have healthy choices in their food.

Activities will begin on October 18 and 19 with dinners at places like Mision 19, El Cubo Bistro, and Orix; on Oct. 20 a Culinary Contest will be held, as well as a dinner in the new proposal of the Lucerna Hotel: Sushi on the Roof, to close with Valley Wine & Food Festival at Valle de Guadalupe.

The latter will be held on Sunday, Oct. 22 where 25 professional chefs from California, including Michelin stars such as Nancy Silverston, Dominique Creen and Josiah Citrini will cook for the attendees.
