There Will Be No "Dry Law" in Tijuana This Weekend

As to not affect tourism that arrives every week

The Ministry of Municipal Government informed the community that due to the federal elections next July 1, the so-called "dry law" will not be applied, even though it had been said on the media that no one would be able to buy alcohol this weekend.

This means that restaurants, bars and commercial establishments dedicated to the sale of beverages will be able to do it in a normal way.

The dry law has not been applied in Baja California for a long time because of the tourist nature of the place.

However, the Ministry of Municipal Government urges the community in general to act responsibly in the consumption of alcoholic beverages and to contribute at all times to maintaining order and respect for citizens and institutions.
