The time has come when Costco puts limits on certain products

It's almost Christmas Eve and if any place can prove it better than any other, it's Costco, which has had long lines to enter since the weekend. However, today they got so long that at the Zona Rio branch the line practically went all around the building.

But it's not just the huge lines of more than two hours waiting, they've also set shopping limits for some of the holiday favorites: for the time being Costco will only allow you to buy two chocoflan cakes and two bags of mini buns per day, which means you can come back the next day and stand in the same line... if you want to wait another two hours.

On the other hand, the long lines could not only be the result of the demand of the season, but also due to the fact that on Saturday the Tijuana authorities had to close the Costco located on the Vía Rápida, since more people than permitted were entering.

This could have generated the need for greater control of the capacity allowed within the store's facilities, in order to avoid the spread of the coronavirus in our region.
