Garita de San Ysidro records another event with Russian citizens

This occurred on Monday morning

A fresh incident happened at the San Ysidro Garita on Monday, December 27, about 1:30 a.m., involving a guy of Russian origin. Citizens lined up to enter into the United States captured this on their cell phones.

Despite being instructed to do so by Border Patrol (CBP) officers, the man does not halt his 2002 Saturn SL sedan, according to the footage. As a result, numerous agents chose to take a defensive stance.

The driver of the automobile rejected the demands to halt and proceeded driving past the dividing line, according to CBP. "CBP officials apprehended five Russian people from the car and will be punished appropriately," they added.

They have not stated if the people were lawful or whether they were Russian migrants attempting to enter the border illegally, as happened on December 12, 2021. Agents from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had to use force in the situation.

Users on social media also documented that moment, reporting that bullets had been fired. Later, parts of the entrance lanes were closed, and the CBP agency issued a statement clarifying the situation.
