In order to support the most vulnerable groups, the governor has delivered house deeds to people in the municipalities of Tijuana, Playas de Rosarito, and Ensenada. Approximately, 100 families were benefitted thanks to help from the current administration. In addition, the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) was given property deeds where their new Regional Hospital will be built in Ensenada.
“In our Baja California, every family has a right to judicial certainty and the peace of being able to legalize their assets and properties. To know that whatever happens, whatever the circumstances, our children can live in peace and with the certainty that they have a place in the world that is theirs and no one else’s,” Marina del Pilar said in her message to Baja Californian society. Regarding this agreement with INSUS, the governor considered that, with this agreement, a historic step has been taken to regularize the state’s land, where municipal administrations will play an important role.
The agreement between the governor and Iracheta Carroll formalizes the joint efforts in order to forgive taxes for families who are currently going through a regularization process, not to mention a joint effort to make the processes much easier. Ávila Olmeda highlighted that this delivery of deeds will be done in a transparent, open, and legal manner, following the rule of law. With this, dozens of families will have, starting now, judicial certainty that whatever the law states belongs to them. As such, she thanked INSUS for carrying out the necessary actions to support the groups of people who need this regularization process the most, which fit neatly with what are the main pillars of the Fourth Transformation.
Regarding the new IMSS Regional Hospital, which already has a property to begin its construction, the governor stated that it is a project that has been in the works for more than 12 years, with an essential role played by business organizations. This medical center will have more than 180 beds and will positively impact the life of Ensenada natives that will have a new space to safeguard their health.
At this event the following people were present: IMSS delegate in Baja California, San Luis Río Colorado, and Sonora, Desiree Sagarnaga Durante; Playas de Rosarito mayor, Hilda Araceli Brown Figueredo; Secretary of Territory, Urban, and Environmental Development of the XXIV Municipal Administration of Tijuana, Miguel Ángel Bujanda Ruiz; Director of the Public Registry of Property and Commerce, Carlos Murguía Mejía; Federal Representative, Evangelina Moreno; President of the Commissionership of Ejido Chapultepec in Ensenada, Martín Godínez, and beneficiary Araceli de la Cruz Garay.
