The State Attorney General Office of Baja California confirmed the news during a press conference

During the morning press conference of the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, the results of the investigation of the unfortunate death of child Edwin Ángel were revealed. He was 1 year and 9 months old.

At first his murder had been attributed to a dog, however, a human attack was also suspected. However, after an investigation, the State Attorney General Office of Baja California revealed that it was in fact a dog who caused the wounds that ended up killing him.

According to Attorney General, Iván Carpio Sánchez, the scientific examinations carried out determined that it had been a dog attack. “This is not a homicide in this particular case, so there is no crime that must be prosecuted”, he said during the press conference.

This news shocked everyone due to the death of the young boy as well as the conditions in which the dog, Duke, was living in. So far, no more information about this case has been revealed.
