Become "half blood and half tequila" in the newest edition of Expo Tequila in Tijuana

Expo Tequila will delight tequila fans with its upcoming edition which will take place from October 12 to October 15

“I drank 45,000 liters of tequila, that's why I'm half blood and half tequila” is an iconic phrase by Chavela Vargas, where she expresses her fascination with this iconic Mexican drink. Thankfully, the most awaited tequila exhibition will arrive soon to offer a great variety of products for you to try.

The border city of Tijuana is preparing to celebrate the 22nd edition of Expo Tequila, traditional event that has become a pillar of its culture, due to its wide variety of tequila brands, shows, and gastronomy. This year, as usual, this great exhibition will take place at the iconic Avenida Revolución, between 8th and 9th Streets, with its access being at 8th Street.

Expo Tequila has become through the years an unmissable event for lovers of good tequila and Mexican culture at large. So high has been its popularity that the event's general director, Mario Alberto Murrieta, claimed that the public has asked him to make this event at least 3 times per year.

This event will take place from Thursday, October 12 to Sunday, October 15. Price of admission will be $10 dollars ($150 pesos) and you'll be able to try more than 40 different brands in 60 different stands that will be set up in Avenida Revolución in Downtown Tijuana.

Exhibitors will showcase the basic tequila presentations such as blanco, reposado, añejo, and extra añejo, and there will be surprises that attendants will discover as the event goes on.

Mario Alberto has said that this edition will have 10 new tequila makers and that the Asociación de Mujeres del Tequila (Tequila Women's Association), whose goal is support the women in this industry, will come from Guadalajara, Jalisco. In addition, there are some new things such as games where the prizes will be tequila bottles, great food variety, and a space where you can dance alongside the rhythms of mariachi.
