Warning issued due to arrival of Santa Ana winds in Tijuana this Saturday

Civil Protection Tijuana issued recommendations regarding this forecast

Weather forecasts have revealed that there will be strong Santa Ana winds this weekend in Tijuana, with gusts of up to 80 km/hour in canyons and the city's highest areas. According to this information, it will be most intense on Saturday morning.

Both Civil Protection Tijuana and mayor Montserrat Caballero have made a list of recommendations for people regarding these forecasted conditions:

• Avoid burning garbage or pasture or lighting bonfires.

• Keep an eye on cables or electrical wiring that could fall.

• Do not throw lit cigarette butts.

• Get rid of weed around your home.
