These famous Tijuana native tacos will cross the border and arrive in San Diego

Are you fan of the tacos at "El Franc" and live in San Diego or tend to spend a lot of time in that border city? Then we have excellent news for you, as these famous tacos will cross the border and will open a branch in the United States.

Since its founding in 1996 by Javier Valdez, these tacos have had an excellent reputation that has led to people constantly lining up to try out their delicious asada tacos and mulitas.

They were even featured in the show "Taco Chronicles" on Netflix.

Where in San Diego will the "El Franc" branch be located?

You will be delighted to discover that it will be located in a very famous mall. The new home of Tacos El Franc will be the current space where Funky Fries & Burgers is located at the Plaza Bonita Shopping Center.

Don't be surprised if those same long lines that occur in Tijuana also happen at this mall. Best of all is that they will offer tortas, quesadillas, mulitas, pozole, menudo, and handmade corn tortillas.

These tacos will be available in the early summer of 2024. The address of this shopping center is 3030 Plaza Bonita Road, Suite #1108 in South Bay, San Diego.
