Xolos wants to continue on top

If the team gets a win, they will have 5 consecutive wins at home, equalizing the starting record on the Bicentenario 2010

TIJUANA, BC.- With the only objective to continue as leader of the Mexican Primera División, and to equal the record made on Bicentenario 2010 –where the team was able to have its best start on history with 5 consecutive victories-, the Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente will take on the Zorros del Atlas this Saturday night.

The match will be played at 7:30PM at the Estadio Caliente, as part of Week 9 of the 2012 Apertura tournament of Liga MX.

Antonio Mohamed’s pupils have taken the top of the Standings with 6 victories, 1 draw and just 1 defeat. Meanwhile the club from Guadalajara is on 13th place with just 1 win, 6 ties and 1 loss.

The Argentinian Coach will maintain a 4-3-3 system that has wonderfully worked on the latest weeks, giving the team chances at the attack and good position when defending. The other good news is that the team doesn’t have any player injured or suspended, and any of the athletes will be available for action on this game, giving Xolos the chance to play with its best men against Atlas.

The club’s moral is over the top; the team is invincible at home this season and has just qualified midweek to the Copa MX Quarterfinals, which has everybody happy. The players’ skills have just been growing in the latest weeks.

All bets are on Xoloitzcuintles, as the favorite squad to take the win here; we shall see if the support and the change of play day will give the local team the advantage to sum 3 more points for their cause.
