Boxing : "Champion of the Decade" will it be Marquez or Pacquiao?

The WBO will award a special belt to the winner of the fight

The next fight between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez has caused some controversy with boxing fans since it' announcement due to many factors as where the fight would be held, the judges involved, and also because in this next fight, the winner will considered as the champion of the decade, and without any doubt this will ultimately decide who is the best fighter out of these two, something that has been always questioned due to the results of the past three previous fights in 2004, 2008 and 2011.

For this fight the WBO has created a special belt to award the winner of the fight since a world title is not at stake in this bout.

The fight will be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on December 8th, where both of these fighters will be also fighting for honor.

In 2011 both boxing fans and Marquez left with a bitter taste from the 3rd fight between him and Pacquiao, due to the fact that he outperformed the champion and the judges still sided with Pacquiao.

Marquez also published a book this past August about his experience of the fight, which he titled "Yo sí le gané a Pacquiao" (I did beat Pacquiao).

Pacquiao has always maintained that he has won all of the fights between them, but that this 4th time he will clearly demonstrate it once and for all.

Both fighters have already been training for this upcoming fight, in which Manny Pacquiao has been training in the Philippines and Marquez has been training and preparing himself in Mexico City.

Marquez also has stated many times that he is training like he never has trained before for this fight and Pacquiao wants to knock out Márquez, which is something he has not done before.

The fans are already anticipating for Pacquiao vs. Marquez IV and ticket prices for the event range between $377-$431 USD, which you can purchase and find more info by clinking on this link.
