Xolos looking to stay undefeated at home

They will be playing their last home game against San Luis

TIJUANA, BC. – Xolos will be playing their last home game of the season at Estadio Caliente, where they have been undefeated all season long.

This Saturday night they will be playing against San Luis, which they have been preparing for this week in training to come up with a win.

The game will be at 7:30p.m. Local time (PST) at the canine squads home turf, and will be part of week 16 of the 2012 Apertura tournament of the Liga MX.

Currently the team, who is under the direction of head coach Antonio Mohamed, is training hard for this coming weekend's game, and are looking to continue to be undefeated, which is something that they have been able to do for 13 weeks now.

"There are two games left to play where we must continue to play well as usual, and this Saturdays game is very important, where we will look to maintain strong going into the playoffs and secure a spot for the Copa Libertadores tournament",said the player from Argentina Diego Olsina, who is now also a naturalized Mexican citizen.

The defender Juan Carlos Nuñez mentioned that the consistency that the team has had, and the response to certain game situations throughout the season, it will be very important to continue like that and close out the season undefeated, which will be a goal that the this team must meet.

"It is very important to close out the last home game of the season well, and as long as we keep on doing what we have been doing all season long, it's something I think that can be done.

The team has maintained humble as we have worked throughout the season, and just continues to focus on getting to the playoffs", said Nuñez.

Nuñez also highlighted the importance of continuing to play well, so that the team can earn their ticket to the next edition of the Copa Libertadores of America tournament.

"It's a dream come true to get to the Copa Libertadores tournament, but first we must continue to think of the next game and sum up those 3 points, and continue to be at the top so we can play in this internacional tournament",said the Tijuana player.
