TIJUANA, BC.- Ending all the rumors about his exit from Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente, Coach Antonio Mohamed has signed for the squad for another tournament, staying with the team until at least July 2013.

Club Tijuana informed about the decision from the Argentinean Coach to stay for another semester with the Xolos, where he will try to guide team to a new championship and to a historic participation at the 2013 Copa Libertadores.

"Turco" Mohamed, as he is better known as, traveled to Argentina to spend a few days with his family, who he already stated that he misses.

Club Tijuana sent a press release confirming the next 6 months of Mohamed at Tijuana.

During the first half of the 2012 Apertura tournament at the Liga MX, the sports section of the Reforma newspaper, Cancha, published an interview with the Coach where he admitted to miss his family and to want to be close to them; this was interpreted as Mohamed wanting to get out of the club and back to Argentina. Even after winning the Primera División championship, one of the first questions asked by the media at Toluca was if he wanted to quit his job at the helm of Xoloitzcuintles.

But the Coach has negated his exit every single time, saying that although he missed his family, he knew he had a job to do and is a professional to finish it.

Mohamed came to Xolos to replace Joaquín del Olmo during Week 10 of the 2011 Apertura tournament, where he debuted against América Águilas, tying 1-1 at Azteca Stadium on September 25th, 2011.

The Coach has lead Club Tijuana on 56 matches, including games from Copa MX and Liga MX.
