California: Firearms sales increase and assaults with firearms decrease

Injuries caused by firearms had fallen by 25%

According to a report from the Department of Public Health, the number of assaults with firearms has decreased considerably in California.

It seems that the connection between the increase of crimes of assault with firearms and the sale of these does not exist, right?, but in the graph below you can judge for yourself between attacks, suicides and accidents related to firearms.

Last year in California 600,000 weapons were purchased, and at the same time hospitalization cases of injuries caused by firearms had fallen by 25%. The only thing that has remained about the same is the rate of suicide.

States like New York and Washington have also seen a drop in the homicide rate.
