USA 3-0 Xolos… Tijuana analyses its weakness

The friendly scrimmage was played at one of the soccer fields over at the Home Depot Center

CARSON, CALIFORNIA.- Will Bruin guided the United States National Team to a win 3-0 over Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente, in a friendly scrimmage played at one of the soccer fields of the Home Depot Center sports complex.

The player from Houston Dynamo scored twice during this match while his teammate Jeff Parke from Philadelphia Union was able to celebrate once, putting the scoreboard 3-0; all goals came in during the second half of this match.

The game was very useful for both squads; on one side the United States are looking for the starting eleven that will play against Canada in less than a week, while shaping the team which will play against Honduras on the Concacaf Qualifications for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile Club Tijuana is looking for game time for all its players to be ready for the next Liga MX matches and the start of the 2013 Copa Libertadores de América.

Today’s game was played under closed doors and there was no access for fans or the media, but San Diego Red was able to obtain a picture from this match and will be informing about the scrimmage as soon as more information is available.

The first half was very quiet and all goals came in through the second half.
