Xolos 2-0 Pachuca... Unbeaten and breaking records

Tijuana has been unbeaten in the last 13 games at home

TIJUANA, BC.- Breaking the record of the best start of a season in 6 years of existence, Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente beat Pachuca Tuzos 2-0 on Saturday night.

The game was played at the soccer field of Estadio Caliente, before a great attendance by the fans who did not care about the rain; the match was part of Week 4 of the 2013 Clausura tournament of Liga MX.

This result puts the canine squad in the fight for first place of the Standings; the team now has 13 consecutive unbeaten games at home; and has beaten the best start in a season with 4 consecutive wins.

The game

The rain did not allow the game to be very spectacular, with the players running slower and with more order to be able to keep the ball on their feet. The field was slippery and it was very hard to put together some plays.

The goals were scored by Alfredo Moreno via penalty kick, then Raúl Enríquez was able to put the 2-0 on the scoreboard.

Next week Xolos will go visit Tigres UANL in Monterrey, the other team unbeaten in the season.

More information later.
