TIJUANA, BC. – Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente will be facing Club America in a home game today as part of Week 6 of the 2013 Clausura tournament in the Liga MX.

The border town will once again experience a magical event in the professional Mexican soccer league, where Xolos, who are at the top of the leader's board, have had a great and historic start and will be playing against a team who has also done the same.

The game will be played today in Tijuana at Estadio Caliente at 5p.m. (PST).

Club Tijuana comes into this match with very interesting statistics, which now after 20 games that they have played in a regular season calendar, they have added up 44 points which were obtained through 12 wins and 8 ties, an honorable record for the national champions, whose goal is to come out on top in every game, and makes this 2012-2013 even more exciting for the fans.

Xolos have usually played very well against America, in which in the last 4 previous games, Xolos has won 1 game and tied the other 3. The last time these two teams face off was at the Azteca stadium, where Xolos defeated America. The most memorable moment between these two teams is when Javier Yacuzzi scored the second fastest goal at America's home field "Coloso de Santa Ursula," in the first season that Xolos played in the Mexican professional soccer league of the 2011 Apertura tournament.

Today's match should be a very exciting one, due to the fact that both these teams are doing very well this season and it's a game that will be played at the Xolos home field, where the game is expected to have a full house with mostly fans who will be present to support the red and black home team.
