Xolos look to get back on track against Jaguares

The match is today

TIJUANA, BC. - Xolos are looking to get back to their winning ways, when they face off against Jaguares (Jaguars) from Chiapas today.

The match will be part of Week 7 of the Clausura tournament 2013 of the Liga MX, and will be played at the Victor Manuel Reyna stadium, which is located in Tuxtla Guiterez, Chiapas. The game will begin at 5:30p.m. (PST).

So far, Jaguares have not been able to win a match in Divison One, but were able to win their first game this past Monday in the Copa MX tournament against the "Reboceros" from La Piedad. Xolos on the other hand have won 4 consecutive matches, tied 1 game against Tigres (2-2) and lost last week against Club America 0-2.

Xolos and Jaguares have played against each other 3 times already in the past, where Xolos have been victorious 2 times and tied 1 game. Club Tijuana has scored 4 goals in their favor against Jaguares, and has not received any goals against them in any of the occasions that these two teams have played against each other.

As far as the injury list, the only player in doubt for this match from Chiapas (Jaguares) is Jhon Cordoba. And on the side of Xolos is Alfredo "Chango" Moreno, who will be out for one more week due to an injury he suffered on his right thigh.

The Xolos head coach, Antonio Mohamed, could possibly set up the field with a 4-3-3 formation with Cirilo Saucedo as the starting goalie. On defense will most likely be Edgar Castillo, Javier Gandolfi, Pablo Cesar Aguilar and Juan Carlos Núñez.

Playing in the midfield will be Cristian Pellerano, Fernando Arce and Joe Corona.

The forwards will be Raul Enriquez, Fidel Martinez and Duvier Riascos. Although there is some doubt of who exactly will be playing up front.

There could also be the possibility that Richard Ruiz may enter the field, which will change the formation to a 4-4-2 due to the absence of the Argentinian player, Alfredo Moreno.

The match will be aired live on TV Azteca in Mexico, and on the Univision channel in the United States. The whistle will blow for the start of the match at 5:30p.m. (PST) sharp.
