Socialite Kim Kardashian announces her resignation from the reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", in which she stars in along with her family on the E entertainment network.

During an interview with DuJour magazine, Kim Kardashian confirmed the news and mentioned that it was time to evolve. She noted that her boyfriend, artist Kanye West, had taught her a lot about privacy and that she was now ready to get away from the cameras in her daily life.

Currently, Kim Kardashian is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, and will be having her first child with Kanye West.

The series Keeping Up with the Kardashians catapulted Kim’s Family to fame, where her mother, stepfather, sister, brother and their respective partners have starred in countless stories that have led to "spinoffs" like "Khloe & Lamar," "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami ".

Kim, Kourtney and Khloe also created an empire of fashion and beauty that include clothing stores, a makeup line, fashion design and more, all under the management of their mother and manager Kris.

The Kardashian family has been criticized for the way that they have turn their everyday life into something so public, where even people like President Barack Obama have forbidden his own children from watching the show, as he believes that it teaches the wrong values.
