Preparations underway for Shells & New Wine Festival

Where the fruits of the sea and earth will come together

The fruits of the sea and earth will come together at the "Festival of Shells and New Wine" as part of the Harvest Festival season.

April 19, 20 and 21 will be the dates for this gastronomic gala at the Hotel Coral and Marina in Ensenada, where one can enjoy three days of various activities.

Prior to the start of this festival, a special dinner will be held on the 19th as an "ice breaker party", where lectures will be given at the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC Ensenada) campus that will include wine tasting and regional dishes at the event.

On April 20th at a location better known as the Wind of Collective Gourmet, there will be cooking demonstrations, a tour of the sea to get to know the habitat of certain species, themed dinners and barbecues and a work shop where you will be able to learn how to cook different types of shellfish.

Finally on Sunday afternoon April 21, some of the top restaurants of the region will present their best dishes made with different types of shellfish, which will also be accompanied by local wines at one of the hotels nearby.
