Xolos' Saucedo tweets his feelings after defeat

The goalkeeper talks about how Tijuana has become a great team

SAN DIEGO, CA.- Yesterday's defeat over Club Tijuana by the current club world champions, SC Corinthians, brought lamentations to the Xolos fans.

However, the words of the goalkeeper, Cirilo Saucedo, gave the fans something to ponder on.

Saucedo used Twitter as a tool to tell his fans that, "the way the rivals celebrated the victory showed what a great team Tijuana has become".

The Xolos of Tijuana had previously defeated Corinthians 1-0 at the Estadio Caliente and the news spread like wildfire throughout South America since the Paulista team is the current Copa Libertadores champion.

The Brazilian squad managed to obtain their first victory of the tournament at home after tying in Bolivia and losing in Mexico, giving the fans an extra reason to celebrate the 3-0 victory over the border team.

This match was also the first good performance by Corinthians since winning the Club World Championship on December of 2012.

The TJ players currently find themselves on their way back home from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will arrive tomorrow by the time the clock hits the 11:00 mark to prepare for their upcoming Liga MX clash.

Cirilo Saucedo was one of the few members from the Xolos roster that bothered to manifest their feelings via the social network of Twitter.

He mentioned that, "the game was a very difficult encounter. We lost but moments like these are what make you appreciate the good ones".

Cirilo also thanked all the fateful fans who support the squad during both good and bad times like this one.
