"As easy as turning off the TV, changing the channel, read or go for a walk," is what is being proposed by members of the social network Twitter, after a man who was identified as an employee of the Mexican television network Televisa, was caught faking an interview while wearing a ski mask in front of the Dean's office at the National Autonomous University of Mexico campus (UNAM).
The man, whose name has not been revealed, was giving an interview to reporters while they were covering a protest by the students of the Science and Humanities Department at the campus.
The fake interview was said to be only a joke that ended up making the people at the protest angry.
This bright idea managed to offend all the people involved in the protest and was not helping their cause at all. To make matter worse, the reporter was from the television network Televisa, which for some time now has become very unpopular with many people.
"They are mocking. They are some uneducated people," shouted the students who also recorded the incident as it was happening.
Why do you guys work that way? That's the type of work ethic they have? Were the questions that the protesters asked the reporters.
The outrage from this incident has been so much that it has been "re-tweeted" 1,200 times.
#CruzadaNacionalContraTelevisa is currently the "trending topic" in Mexico.
