When the news that the official portrait of the Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto cost around 35,000 dollars was revealed, more than half of the country raised their eyebrows, complained, and even insulted the president.
On this occasion, the governor from the state of Queretaro, Mexico, Jose Calzada Rovirosa is the one who spent more than double, around $85,000 dollars, than the amount that the Mexican president spent for his. How will Mexican citizens react to this, no one knows.
David Ross Zundel, who also took Peña Nieto's picture, was the photographer responsible for taking the governors picture. Zundel has taken pictures of various government officials and is known as the "photographer of the politician's."
