Young San Diegan signs with Xolos

Paul Arriola from Chula Vista will play next season

Club Tijuana is still not done with their participation in the current semester and already they are building up their squad for the 2013-2014 year which will start this summer. It was announced today that the Xolos have signed Chula Vista striker Paul Arriola for their Under-20 squad.

The young soccer player signed for the Xoloitzcuitles this past May 2 but it wasn't until today that it was confirmed.

Arriola had already been with Club Tijuana last December when he trained with the team before returning to the Los Angeles Galaxy. Arriola did not find any opportunities with the Galaxy due to the current size of the LA squad.

"I'm a quick player who likes to run down the wings. I like to defend as well. I'm very happy to be here and I'm grateful with the club and its fans for this opportunity. Now it's to get to work, I've come to a few games and the atmosphere is amazing, the fans are amazing" said the American upon his arrival to the still Mexican league champs.
