Craft Beer Expo 2013 in Tijuana

More than 30 varieties looking to join the San Diego-Tijuana region

May 17 and 18 will be the date when beer lovers will be able to taste over 30 varieties of craft beer in Tijuana, during the "Craft Beer Expo." With participants from across Baja California and Southern California, this event is sure to guarantee an experience an explosion of flavors to your taste bud like no other.

In this event aside from all of the beer tasting and the sale of craft beers going on, there will also be samples of dishes from Baja Med and conferences on responsible consumption, beer types and pairings, among other topics that will be covered, especially the promotion of responsible beer consumption.

The Craft Beer Expo 2013 is organized by BCB Tasting Room, Craft Brewers Association of Baja California, Tijuana Brewery, Brewery Insurgentes, Ramuri Brewery and Restaurant Caza Club.

The event will be held from 2:00 pm to 2:00 am in front of the Mercado Hidalgo in Zona Rio, with a cover fee of 90 pesos (about $8 USD). By paying the entry fee, attendees will also receive a commemorative glass. There will also be a presentation by 10 world-class chefs and 10 local brewers, where you will be given samples of food and beers that combined well. This part of the event has a cost of 600 pesos (about $53 USD).
