McLaren's Sergio Perez at the Monaco Grand Prix

"In Monaco, anything can happen"

Sergio Perez was satisfied after qualifying for the Monaco Grand Prix Formula One, where he posted the seventh fastest time in the qualifying rounds, and said that today he "gave his best effort" to McLaren.

"We made a great qualification. Now have to keep working hard," Perez said.

The young Mexican, 23, will start tomorrow's race from the fourth row, which will be accompanied by the German racer, Adrian Sutil (Force India), after completing the 3340 meters of the Monaco track in one minute , 15 seconds and 138 milliseconds.

"The whole team has done a fantastic job all weekend, and I hope that we can continue this way and scratch some points in tomorrow's race. In Monaco, anything can happen," said the pilot from Monterrey, Mexico.
