Sheriff Joe Arpaio is selling this on Ebay

It’s worth more than 2,000 dollars

The controversial Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, has now put up for auction an arm sling that he recently used, and whose price has reached $2,200 dollars, so far.

The sale of this sling, part of the celebrities products section, has already had 63 bids, but it is expected that there will be more offers before the auction closes on the June 18.

The sheriff, known for dealing with illegal immigration and prisons of this county in Arizona with a very tough hand, appears in several photographs wearing the sling, while in another picture he is seen signing it.

"You are bidding on an autographed sling used by the toughest Sherriff in America, Joe Arpaio. The sling was used by the Sheriff for several weeks to help heal the broken shoulder," says the ad.

Arpaio, 81, since 1992 has been the head of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, and is the only Sheriff in the state that enforces the "anticoyote" law, which authorizes officers to arrest and charge immigrants who admit to have paid money to be brought to the U.S. illegally.

For profiling immigrants, Arpaio has suffered legal setbacks, in which last May a federal judge determined that his actions have discriminated against Hispanic residents, and is also facing several lawsuits by the Department of Justice on similar accusations.

In addition to the arm sling, there are also photos, autographed shirts and shorts, a golf bag, business cards, official support stickers, flags, cartoons and postcards with his picture, and copies of the documentary "The toughest Sheriff in America", and a number of books written by Arpaio that are all being sold on Ebay.
