Bendetto is a fast forward who has good qualities creating as well as finishing. He had a good performance in Copa Libertadores where he scored three goals; including a superb goal against Atletico Mineiro. He will continue to mature game by game in Mexico.

He has also been part of Defensores y Justicia in the past, a team that Xolosmhas negotiated with before. The Xoloitzcuitles have brought in Leandro Fernandez before and most recently new manager Jorge Almiron. Bendetto also becomes the third former Arsenal de Sarandi player to arrive at Tijuana as Javier Yacuzzi and team captain Javier Gandolfi have also gone through the Arsenal team.

It is mentioned in Argentina that Antonio "Turco" Mohamed had tried to bring in Bendetto, but that it was finally Almiron who managed to bring the young Argentine to the border town.
