Harry Potter set to arrive in Hollywood

The construction plans are ready

Universal City, CA – With no opening date set yet, but with the construction plans ready, Universal Studios Hollywood will begin to build The Wizarding World of Harry Potter where the Gibson Amphitheatre currently stands.

It will be in September 2013, when this venue that has seen great shows will stop working. This building was leased for many years by the Live Nation firm.

Raul Becerra, who is the Latino media relations spokesman, stressed that this building, located at City Walk, will be the one that will undergo the transformation to receive the relics of the famous wizard.

"There is where it will be built, and we have already announced the closure of the Gibson Amphitheater and another area in the park will be expanded. I cannot give more details," said Becerra.

This place will be based on the bestselling books by JK Rowling and blockbuster movies of Warner Bros.

In Universal Studios Orlando, Florida, this attraction is already in operation, added Becerra, who also said that by the summer of 2014, there will be a new attraction, that of "Despicable Me", a film that is about to release its second part.

The commercial district adjacent to the amusement park has well known stores and restaurants, and a cinema.
