Bruno Piceno wants to break into the first team of Tijuana Xolos

The Tijuana Xolos youth product wants to to be in the starting eleven. Aldo Polo also spoke.

TIJUANA - Preseason training continues for the Tijuana Xolos in the synthetic grass of the Estadio Caliente. The young Tijuana native Bruno Piceno who is considered a promising star want to be in the final 18 man first team roster and be a regular within the starting eleven, he also talked about the new system with new manager Jorge Almiron.

"It's different now; we all have to get use to the new system. Last season it was my goal to play Copa Libertadores, and I achieved it. Now my goal is to be within the 18 man roster and be a regular in the starting lineup" commented the youth player.

He also recognized that it hurt to lose to Correcaminos on the team's preseason presentation at home. But now they have to think about getting better for their next match against some old friends like Joshua Abrego, Raul Enriquez and Edgar Villegas.

"It was a bitter experience because it was the presentation with the home fans, nothing went right. Now we have to face some friends in the next game, but the friendship stops at the field; we have to go out and win" concluded the young Tijuana Xolos plagyer.

Aldo Polo who signed for Tijuana Xolos during the draft was been playing as a right back when the team uses a line of four defenders, or center back on the right side when the team uses a line of three defenders. He was amazed at how full the Estadio Caliente got on Wednesday night for the friendly against Correcaminos.

"I really did not expect to see so many people, I have to get use to the sell-out crowds here. I'm frustrated due to the out come. But we are working hard to be ready for week one of the season" commented Polo.

The ex Puebla player mentioned that preseason has gone over well and that the final detail is to get use to the synthetic grass at the Estadio Caliente.

"I've felt good during the preseason; I am motivated by being a great club. The boss just wants us to cut loose and play our game. It's taking a while but I have to get use to this field. We need to keep working hard and adjust to everything" concluded the Tijuana Xolos defender.
