Sonoma County Sol vs San Diego Flash: Flash in the playoffs once again

The San Diego Flash will be on the road for their playoff game.

SAN DIEGO - Since joining the NPSL the San Diego Flash have managed to make the playoffs every season, and this one was no exception. It was a tough road decided on the last game of the regular season, but the Flash finished in second place of the Western South division of the NPSL beating out Santa Clarita Storm by one point.

The San Diego Flash have to been able to make it pass the first round of the playoffs and will be looking to do it for the first time this Saturday when they face Sonoma County Sol. As second place of the Western South division, the Flash will face the Western North first place team; the Sonoma County Sol.

Sonoma County Sol will be a difficult test for the San Diego Flash, they’ll have to travel to Sonoma County, which is just north of San Francisco and is also part of the Bay Area. Sonoma County Sol went through the entire regular season undefeated with a record of nine wins, three draws, and no losses. They scored 39 goals and received 18 during their 12 regular season games.

San Diego Flash finished with a record of seven wins, four draws, and three losses. They scored 38 goals and received 19 goals during their 14 regular season games.

The game between Soloma County Sol and san Diego Flash will be on Saturday July 13 at 7:00PM at Rancho Cotate High School (5450 Snyder Ln. Rohnert Park, CA 94928)

In the other Western conference playoff game the Western South division champions FC Hasental will host the second place from the Western North division Sacramento Gold.
