TIJUANA – Greg Garza is a quality young defender that already has a goal in first division Liga MX playoff game. He is now returning from a string of injuries that left him out of last season. "To play more minutes this season in my goal, last season was difficult due to injuries" said the defender.

He thinks that this new version of the Tijuana Xolos will be more of a protagonist in search of the ball, and he believes that the pressure will be the key for the new season that is about to start.

"He (Almiron) likes the team to be aggressive, there is always thing to get better at, it is a process but each day we all work hard and are improving. We want to take advantage of our home field so we'll be going out there with everything we have" said Garza.

Garza went on to explain the differences between Almiron and Mohamed who use the same formation; four defenders, one defensive mid, two mixed mid, two wingers, and one striker.

"The biggest difference is the pressure on the ball. With Mohamed when we lost the ball everyone returned to their positions and waited for the other team's attack and then we would counter. But now we have more technical players and the coach wants us to pressure the ball as soon as we lose it" concluded the American defender.
