Desmond Tutu who in 1984 won the Nobel Peace Prize and is a retired Archbishop in South Africa gave some strong comments: "I should not serve a god that is a homophobe" speaking about all religions who outcast homosexuals just for being homosexuals.
The UN has launched a campaign for the rights of the LGBT community in the city of Cabo where Tutu has made these declarations; he added "I am as passionate about this campaign as I was for the equal rights movement for colored people."
He wants to demonstrate that equal rights for all people is one big fight, he has compared it to that of the slaves, and the holocaust of the Jews.
Strong comments considering who they are coming from, thousands of people have applaud his bravery while other have heavily criticized him. What do you think?
