TIJUANA – The Ecuadorian midfielder from Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles, Fidel Martinez will be on the cover of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2014 informed Konami Digital Entertainments Inc.

The cover shows Martinez on the right side, sharing the image with the biggest stars from the latest Copa Libertadores like Ronaldinho from Atletico Mineiro, Juan Roman Riquelme from Boca Juniors, Alexander Pato from Corinthians, and more.

It is precisely Martinez’s good form during the 2013 Copa Libertadores why he was chosen to be in the cover becoming the first ever Tijuana Xolos player to appear on a video game cover.

This will be Club Tijuana’s first time appearing in the PES video game, it is worth mentioning that the Xolos have already had two participation’s in EA Sport’s FIFA game; being part of FIFA 12 and FIFA 13, and once again out in FIFA 14. But due to their qualification into the Copa Libertadores Tijuana Xolos will make their debut in the PES video game.

Another video game where the Xolos have been featured is Football Manager, a head coach simulator made by Eidos Ineractive.
