Raul Enriquez: "We weren't sharp in front of goal today"

Cirilo Saucedo also shared his thoughts after the match.

TIJUANA - Raul Enriquez the historic Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles all time leading goal scorer was called upon today in the 11th minute of the game to take the place of the injured Dario Benedetto. Raul like most of the Xolos front line player had his chances in front of goal but could not take.

"We weren't sharp in front of goal today ,that cost us today. Now we just need to keep working." Stated Enriquez in mix zone interview following the 0-0 draw between Xolos and Cruz Azul.

Enriquez also expressed his concern for teammate Dario Benedetto who left the game injured. "It's sad to see a teammate suffer like that. Hope he gets well soon, he is an important part of the team. And if is up to me to cover his spot then I'll do it to the best of my ability." Said Raul Enriquez.

SAUCEDO NOT HAPPY WITH THE SCHEDULE

Xolos goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo was not expressed his disapproval of the schedule that the Xolos will have to under go in the next week. Club Tijuana will face C.D. Victoria on Thursday September 26 in the CONCACAF Champion's League, face Puebla on Sunday September 29 in week 12 of the Mexican league, face Club America on Tuesday October 1 in a week 2 make up game, and on Friday October 4 they'll face Queretaro in week 13 of the league at the Estadio Caliente. A total of four games in one week's time.

"It's too much. Four games in eight days, seriously it is way too much. This needs to be a calling to the people in charge of organizing the schedule there is no way to play so many games in such little amount of time." Explained Saucedo.
