LEON, GUANAJUATO - Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles travel into the ever dangerous field of Leon where they are yet to win since achieving first division promotion. Xolos will need to come up with their first win on the road for this season, and their first win in that stadium in the top flight to be able to keep hoping for a playoff miracle.

Leon vs Tijuana Xolos in the final matchday of the Apertura 2013 regular season of the Liga Bancomer MX is scheduled for Saturday November 9 at 8:06PM local time (6:06PM pacific time) from the Nou Camp in Leon, Guanajuato.

The Xoloitzcuintles currently sit in 10th place of the table with 21 points; ahead of the is Tigres (9th 22 points), Queretaro (8th 23 points), and Morelia (7th 24 points). Xolos will need to win the match and reach 24 points, and hope that two of the three teams ahead of the loose/drop points.

The playoff miracle will be no easy task for Tijuana as they will be forced to do something they have yet to accomplish since reaching the top tier league in Mexico; win at the Nou Camp of Leon. In the first division Xolos have visited the 'panzas verdes' on two occasions and left with 4-0 and 2-0 losses.

This feat will also mean that the Xoloitzcuintles will have to win away from the comforts of the Estadio Caliente in Tijuana. So far this season the Xolos have accumulated 5 losses and 2 draws when playing on the road.

Leon already has their ticket for the playoffs sealed, but will still be searching for the win to assure themselves a Copa Libertadores ticket. They will want to avenge the horrible performance they had in the biggest club competition on this side of the world with a return trip and a much better showing.

This game will also feature some key absences on both teams. Xolos will be without one of their main midfielders; Fernando Arce who was shown a direct red card last weekend in the 4-1 win over Atlante. On the Leon side there will be multiple absences since the team has various players under National Team duties. The home side will be without veteran defender Rafa Marquez, and key midfielders Carlos "Gulit" Peña, and Luis Montes.

Possible lineups:

Xolos - Cirilo Saucedo; Juan Carlos Núñez, Javier Gandolfi, Pablo Aguilar, Edgar Castillo; Cristian Pellerano, Javier Güemez, Diego Olsina; Richard Ruíz, Fidel Martínez and Darío Benedetto

Leon - William Yarbrough; Onay Pineda, Jonny Magallón, Arturo Ortiz, Ignacio González, Edwin Hernández; Elías Hernández, Fernando Navarro, Juan José Vázquez. Matias Britos, Darío Burbano y Mauro Boselli.
