MEXICO - Saul "Canelo" Alvarez could be returning to the ring following his loss to Floyd "Money" Mayweather this past September in Las Vegas. The rival could be Puerto Rican Miguel Angel Cotto who is the one who has the fight and needs to decide on an opponent between the Mexican or the Argentine Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez who is recovering from an injury.
Jose Reyes "Canelo's" trainer said they should not delay on a decision for too long. In his opinion Alvarez is the best option for Cotto as both have similar styles and it would be a great battle.
The date in mind for the Cotto fight is sometime in March, month in which it is still a doubt if Martinez will have recovered from his injury. For which a Canelo vs Cotto fight is much more likely.
Brandon Rios will wear the green-white-red
The U.S. fighter Brandon Rios who has Mexican lineage is already in China getting ready for his upcoming fight against Manny Pacquiao on November 24. The American fighter will be wearing green, white, and red trucks for this bout.
This fight has been very underrated as both Pacquiao and Rios are coming off of losses in their most recent fights. "Pac-Man" is still the heavy favorite in this one.
