Tijuana Xolos coming back with or without coach?

Players return on Monday and there still is no official word on a new head coach.

TIJUANA - Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles players are set to return from vaccination on Monday December 2 to start preseason training towards the Clausura 2014 season of the Liga Bancomer MX where they'll be looking to qualify to the playoffs after going through the entire 2013 without doing so.

This is including the Dorados of Sinaloa players who have the double first division/second division registration. Tijuana does have a minor set back though; they still have not hired a head coach to make the final roster decisions.

It has been rumored that the Venezuelan Cesar Farias is very close to signing a contract with the club; event he terms of a three-year contract for $3 million per year is being mentioned in several media outlets. Daniel "El Travieso" Guzman is still another option that has not been ruled out.

As far as players and roster changes the rumors remain the same with the possible inclusions of former Chivas players Marco Fabian and Miguel Ponce, as well as the possible signing of Ecuadorian Michael Arroyo. As far as players that will be leaving the club, it is rumored that Chivas of Guadalajara is interested in goalkeeper Cirilo Saucedo as well as midfielder Fernando Arce. And in the last few days Fidel martinez has sparked interest from teams like Pachuca and Monterrey.
