TIJUANA, BC.- In order to test the abilities of the players, and to give the fans a preview of what's coming for Tijuana Zonkeys in the Basketball Circuit of the Pacific Coast (Cibacopa in Spanish), the border team will play on the 2014 edition of the Zonkeys Cup, to be played next weekend in Rosarito, Baja California.

The 4 teams tournament will start on Friday, March 21st, with a game at 7PM between San Diego Team Elite and CR All-Star; at 8:30PM, Tijuana Zonkeys will take on the Inglewood Fellas. Both matches will be played at the gymnasium in the Unidad Deportiva Profesor Andres Luna Rodriguez in Playas de Rosarito.

Professional players like Omar Quintero and Luis "Chupa" Ramirez will be available for Coach Angel Gonzalez for these games, while the young players and those on try out will try to win a spot on the team's starters list.

On Saturday those teams defeated in the First Round will play each other at 5PM, while the Final will take place at 6:30PM between Friday's winners.
