The City Of Tecate Will Leave A Gender Equality Legacy

One of the syndication's purpose is to promote the city's respect towards gender equality

TECATE.-

In order to commemorate Women's International Day, Union Attorney, Daniel de León Ramos, presented upon Mayor César Moreno González de Castilla and First Lady Claudia González de Moreno, the progress of the institutional Gender Equality program, which takes place in Tecate.

One of the purposes of this Union is to promote the City's gender equality and build through several attitudes, values, rules and operating strategies,

a public function that has equity and equal opportunities for men and women.

He explained that through this daily practice, they exercise social justice, ensured by the 1st Article of the Political Constitution, which applies the composition of labor structure and the development of minimum gender indicators.

On her behalf, First Lady Claudia González expressed her commitment to continue working on gender equality actions in the different dependencies, so the Union's work is spread out.

Mayor Moreno reinstated that women are the ones who give a path to society, acknowledging the abilities

and disposition that the women who work in the City have, and encouraged them to keep fighting for equality in their work environment with a security that is sure to transcend onto next generations of public administration.
