Meteor Shower Will Arrive on Wednesday

Lyrids annual shower is finally here

WORLD.- Once night falls on Wednesday, April 22th we will able to observe Lyrids meteor shower at its fullest.

Lyrids is an annual shower of shooting stars originated from the Lyra constellation, it can be appreciated from April 12th to 24th, having the 22nd as the day with maximum exposure.

The number of meteors varies from 10 to 20, however in can reach up to 200, being this the reason experts called it "unpredictable."

According to the Astronomical Society of the Engineering Faculty from theAutonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM), we will be able to see this shower starting at 7:00 p.m. from Mexico's Central time and 5:00 p.m. Pacific time.

For your enjoyment, we recommend you observe the shower for a clear space, bring a coat and some chairs for you comfort.
