In this edition of "Baja California Dreaming" we visit Giussepis restaurant one of the eleven restaurants in the Plascencia group and where the real Mexican pizza was born SanDiegoRed Baja California?s gastronomy is the center of international attention lately and that is mostly thanks to Chef Javier Plascencia. His main goal is to make a gastronomic destination of this region and, for that, he has dedicated his life to promoting a unique cuisine based on local products. In this edition of "Baja California Dreaming? writer of the Street Gourmet LA blog, Bill Esparza, interviews the famous Chef and takes a tour through Giuseppis, the first restaurant in the Plascencia group and the first pizza parlor in Mexico.
