The U.S. president Barack Obama released an official video statement confirming his official endorsement of Hillary Clinton, congratulating her "for making history as the presumptive Democratic nominee", and urging Democrats to unite in support for her as well.
"I know how hard this job can be. That's why I know Hillary will be so good at it. In fact I don't think there's ever been someone so qualified to hold this office", said Obama of Clinton during his statement.
According to Clinton's team, she and Obama will be campaigning together on Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, planning to discuss "building on the progress we've made, and their vision for an America that is stronger together."
